The Heatherton Singers began at the end of 2009, initially as a Parent and Staff choir at Heatherton House School in Amersham, hence the choir's name. We are a small community choir who meet on Thursday evenings, mainly in term time, to sing and have fun. There's no audition; we have singers who read music and some who don't, some who have sung before and some who haven't sung since school days - all are welcome.

We ask for a small contribution from members for each concert season to help cover hire of the rehearsal room and music purchase and then we aim to raise funds for various local and national charities from each concert. We sing a wide range of music from madrigals through to medleys from stage musicals and everything in between. Rehearsals are held in the Owen Room at Amersham Free Church on Thursdays from 7.45pm.
